Andrew Steele
Dr Andrew Steele is a scientist, author of Ageless: The new science of getting older without getting oldand Director of The Longevity Initiative. After a PhD in physics from the University of Oxford, Andrew decided that ageing was the single most important scientific challenge of our time, he spent five years using machine learning to investigate DNA and NHS medical records at the Francis Crick Institute. He is now a full-time writer, presenter and campaigner. He has written for then Wall Street Journal, Sunday Times and WIRED, appeared on Don’t Die on Netflix, Discovery and the BBC, and lectures around the world from keynotes on the latest longevity research, to science to science stand-up at the Hammersmith Apollo.

He previously served as Global CEO of TNS (Kantar, WPP plc) and CEO of Wilmington plc, an international B2B information and publishing group. He currently conducts research and publishes on the Silver Economy, helping companies and institutions understand the opportunities arising from an aging population.

Executive Director of the Lions Befrienders Service Association. She has nearly four decades of experience in community work and more than 16 years of leadership in the nonprofit sector in the Asia-Pacific region. She has championed innovative models of integrated care and person-centered care, fostering connections between health, social, and community systems to improve the quality of life for older adults. She serves on various advisory bodies in the fields of health, technology, and community care in Singapore.

After a career spanning more than 25 years at Eli Lilly, he has spearheaded innovative projects in the fields of healthcare and advanced therapies. In 2023, he received the Tambor de Oro de Donostia award for his contribution to raising the city’s international profile as a leader in science and innovation.

Recognized as one of the most influential voices in Spanish journalism, he has received numerous awards, including the “Tambor de Oro” from the city of San Sebastián, in recognition of his professional career.

We are a foundation under Gipuzkoa Provincial Council; our purpose is to change the challenge of ageing into an opportunity for technological, economic and social innovation.
Our main mission is to promote a new quality and healthy ageing model, which is people centric, sustainable and based on private-public partnership.
Thanks to our partnering with public institutions, companies, research centres and social stakeholders, we drive innovation in areas such as prevention and promoting healthy lives, overall wellbeing, social and health care, and user-centric environments.
Our ecosystem consists of +700 stakeholders comprising public administrations, social entities, companies, training and skills-building, and innovation and research entities; our Innovation Strategic Agenda 2024-2027 governs our activities and acts as the instrument to structure and align the whole of the ecosystem to respond to the challenges associated with ageing. It is divided into 4 major challenges, 7 strategic goals and 25 lines of action to ensure the better overall wellbeing of people and which seek to foster competitive opportunities in the longevity economy.

A Space to Experiment
The Living Lab – an open experimentation environment where companies and users interact with real solutions – will be the centrepiece of the Adinberri Longevity Forum. Immersive experiences and demonstrations will be used to test innovative care models and technologies to co-create the future of longevity and improve the quality of life.
Demo Workshops
INNOVATION IN ACTION
The demo workshops will provide practical experience to learn first-hand about innovative longevity solutions. Companies will use this interactive format to demonstrate the real application of their proposals; delegates will thus discover trends and can check out how such improvements will directly impact on the quality of life.
One-To-One Meetings
CONNECTIONS GENERATING OPPORTUNITIES
